  5. ChunkIt helps you print Postscript files generated on a Macintosh on other
  6. computers (for example, a VAX running VMS) and non-Laserwriter printers. These
  7. systems have an internal limit (often 256 characters) on the size of what they
  8. know as a "line". Unfortunately, Postscript files generated on the Macintosh
  9. that have downloaded fonts may have "lines" of font definitions several thousand
  10. characters long. ChunkIt breaks up any downloaded font definitions into shorter
  11. lines that these systems, and most text editors, are happier handling. ChunkIt
  12. can optionally translate Mac end-of-line (CR) into Unix (LF) or MS-DOS (CRLF)
